In addition, I offer specialized perinatal and parent-infant therapy for individuals and families who are trying to conceive, expecting, postpartum, parenting young children, or coping with pregnancy or infant loss, medical complications, or NICU experiences.

Sessions are available in person in New Orleans, online throughout Louisiana and Colorado, and in-home within the Greater New Orleans area.

If you’re unsure whether your concerns are a good fit for therapy with me, that’s exactly what the consultation call is for.

Ready to Get Started?

If you’re feeling overwhelmed or simply ready for support, I invite you to schedule a free 20-minute phone consultation so we can explore whether working together feels like a good fit.

Have questions or feeling unsure? A simple conversation is a good place to begin.

What to Expect When Getting Started

1. Schedule a Free Consultation

Start by scheduling a free 20-minute consultation call. You can book directly through my online scheduling platform or use the contact form if you need an alternate time.

During this call, we’ll briefly discuss what brings you to therapy and what you’re hoping for.

2. Deciding If We’re a Good Fit

We’ll talk about your goals, answer any questions you may have, and determine together whether working together feels like a good fit.

If you would like to move forward, we’ll schedule your first appointment.

If insurance coverage needs to be confirmed, we can review your benefits or take the necessary steps to verify coverage before your first session.

3. Complete Your Intake Paperwork

You’ll receive secure portal access to complete pre-session paperwork. Please submit your forms at least 48 hours before your appointment so I have time to review and prepare.

4. Your First Session

If meeting in person, you’re welcome to arrive a few minutes early and wait in the waiting room.

If meeting virtually, you’ll receive login details via email before your appointment. I recommend logging in a few minutes early to ensure your audio and video are working smoothly so we can begin on time.

5. Getting Started

The first sessions are a bit more structured. I’ll ask questions to better understand your history, current concerns, and goals. We’ll review relevant information from your intake forms and begin building a plan together. However, typically I allow you to start with what you need each week. We may have bookmarked something to come back to, but sometimes you are in a different place by the time we meet again, and it is more important to make sure we are addressing what you need each week.

It’s normal to feel a little unsure or awkward at first. Most clients find that comfort grows naturally over the first few sessions as trust develops.

6. Ongoing Work

From there, we focus on what matters most to you — whether that’s managing anxiety or depression, navigating parenting challenges, strengthening relationships, or working through past experiences.

Therapy is collaborative, thoughtful, and tailored to your needs. If something isn’t working or helping or if something I suggest does not make sense or seems impossible, please tell me right away. I look forward to working with you!
